Students wanting to be successful in the high stakes world of grad school are searching for an edge in the type of drugs as Adderall. It has long been documented that pupils have tried nonprescription "uppers" as caffeine pills, Dexedrine and Benzedrine to assist them to stay awake and learn longer. Heather (last name withheld upon request), a UCLA graduate headed onto dentistry institution at a different faculty this fall, says that she managed to spend all pupil charges and tuition by selling the Adderall of her and diet pills, both on campus and off, to those as young as center school. However, her reputation for having a ready source suggested that she typically must do simply sit at a table on campus, as well as individuals, eager for a benefit, discovered her.   "I would provide a prescription bottle almost everywhere I went and became a hot person for review groups," Heather explained. She would check out "friendly" pharmacies in Mexico for Adderall and diet pills, and in L.A. she would typically claim that her medication was lost as well as stolen to acquire double as well as triple the amount of pills the prescription of her called for every month. 
Ethical, medical, along with legitimate issues abound surrounding this practice. From the willingness of students to speak about the methods of theirs, it appears that the practice is publicly acknowledged and tolerated. Several of those questioned did not realize that it had been an illegal practice. It was just under that advisement that students refused to speak further or perhaps solely on problems of relative anonymity.
