The pressure to gain and function as the best in amateur and professional athletics drives several athletes, at times with the urging of their coaches, to consider dangerous, illegal steroids and other bodily enhancing drugs. At the other end, the associations which control these athletes look for additional ways to detect the usage of these drug treatments and punish the athlete for using them.
